Steve Rohall has more than 20 years experience in software development and architecture, development management, consulting, and industrial research, primarily in the fields of collaborative computing, visualization, and data analytics. Experiences include developing and deploying systems for enterprise and public use and managing distributed development teams. Responsible for writing project proposals and presenting and reviewing projects for customers and sponsors. Experience with a variety of programming languages, toolkits, and operating systems; able to pick up new technologies quickly and as needed. Received an IBM Outstanding Technical Accomplishment Award, which recognizes research contributions to Lotus Notes that led to greater than $100 million in corporate revenue. Co-inventor on 16 issued patents and 6 patents pending; co-author on 41 technical publications. Other activities include writing and reviewing journal submissions, conference papers, and patent disclosures and mentoring junior staff and interns.
